Interschutz 2026 has officially opened – and throughout this week, the Magirus Pavilion 32 is the meeting point for firefighters, partners, delegations and visitors from around the world. Across 2,300 m², Magirus is creating a space in Hanover that goes far beyond a traditional exhibition stand: a place for encounters, direct exchange and discussions about how protection and operational capability can continue to evolve in an increasingly complex world.

Magirus Pavilion 32: More than a showcase

At a trade fair of this scale, schedules quickly fill up, impressions overlap and genuine conversations often become secondary. This is exactly where Magirus is deliberately taking a different approach.

“Trade fairs can quickly become a sprint. At Magirus, we consciously want to do things differently. We want to take time for meaningful conversations, personal encounters and the kind of exchange that truly matters. The Magirus Pavilion 32 is our invitation to everyone who wants to engage with Magirus, exchange perspectives and experience the brand up close,” says Stephanie Loser, Head of Marketing & Communications at Magirus.

New equipment for real operational challenges

Whether limited visibility, power outages or vehicle fires – diverse operational scenarios require reliable technology that supports emergency crews in critical moments. At Interschutz, Magirus is therefore showcasing not only vehicles, but also new equipment solutions for a wide range of applications: from the Poseidon TP8-1 pump and the new thermal imaging camera to mobile power generators and a fire containment blanket for vehicle fires.

The portfolio is complemented by personal protective equipment such as the ProtectUs helmet, reflecting a holistic approach to protection and safety in operations. With this, Magirus underlines its ambition to support emergency services not only with individual products, but with integrated solutions across the entire operational chain.

From turntable ladders to defence: solutions for a wide range of operational scenarios

The portfolio presented at Interschutz highlights the breadth of modern operational solutions offered by Magirus – ranging from turntable ladders and firefighting vehicles to command vehicles, remote-controlled systems such as the AirCore TAF35-C, and solutions for defence and critical infrastructure protection.

With the articulated turntable ladder M42L-AS SC and the M32L-AT SC, Magirus is also showcasing its SmartControl technology within the turntable ladder portfolio. In addition, developments such as the Single Extension technology introduced by Magirus in 2010 have had a lasting impact on the turntable ladder sector today. The exhibition is further complemented by the high-performance airport crash tender Magirus DRAGON X6 NEO.

Concept TeamCab: A new perspective on crew cabins

With the Concept TeamCab, Magirus is presenting a walk-in crew cabin module at Interschutz as a conceptual approach for future crew cabins. The focus is not on a production-ready product, but on open dialogue around requirements, materials and new perspectives in firefighting vehicle construction.

The showcased wood composite approach is intended to encourage discussion around topics such as repairability, durability, resource efficiency and regional availability – together with emergency crews, customers and decision-makers directly on site.

More than watching: Magirus Jump and Operation 112

The Magirus Pavilion 32 is not just about technology and dialogue – it is also about real experience. At the Magirus Jump, visitors can leap from two different heights onto the rescue cushion and receive a professional souvenir photo afterwards. “Drop by for a jump” takes on a very literal meaning at Interschutz.

With the “Operation 112” firefighter challenge, Magirus and Jung & Jung Live Enhancement are bringing an operational challenge format in HYROX style to Interschutz. Inspired by real-world firefighting demands, the challenge focuses on strength, endurance, concentration and agility. Visitors can compete against other emergency responders and put their abilities to the test.

Visitors can also explore exclusive merchandise and souvenirs in the Magirus Fanshop – including Cody, the new Magirus mascot. The red dragon – inspired by the DRAGON airport fire engine series - symbolises the passion, team spirit and unique sense of community that connect the Magirus brand and the firefighting world.

One week, one world

Throughout the week, the Magirus Pavilion 32 will serve as an international meeting point for fire services and security organisations from around the globe. Emergency responders and representatives from countries including Ukraine, Chile and Taiwan, as well as delegations from the Middle East and Africa, are coming together to exchange perspectives and discuss common challenges.

More than 30 countries, one shared mission: protecting emergency responders and communities as effectively as possible.

What we are experiencing at Interschutz reflects exactly what Magirus stands for and what sets us apart: staying close to customers, listening, understanding and improving together,” says Stephanie Loser.

This ambition is also reflected in the strategic development of Magirus’ international sales organisation, with a stronger focus on direct customer relationships, closer market proximity and the continued expansion of international sales structures worldwide.
